· Bow before stepping into the training room (dojo). Bow to the Kamiza (shrine) if one is present.

· Only practise the forms shown by the instructor. Never expand upon the forms unless instructed to do so. If you continue to ignore this you may be asked to leave the training area. Never practise anything other than told to.

· Never teach or show techniques outsides of the Dojo. To do so can result in expulsion from the dojo. Only those with a teaching license or with permission may teach.

· Always show respect towards the following

o Other practitioners
o Other martial arts
o Other people's equipment.
o Respect and care for junior ranks.
o Show special respect to your seniors.

· Hygiene is important, so keep yourself and your equipment clean. If your Gi is dirty wash it, if creased, iron it

· All training fees are to be paid for at each training session unless by prior arrangement with the instructor.

· Anyone accepting or soliciting a grade from another teacher without good reason will be expelled from the Dojo and all training given by Bujinkan Lincoln Dojo.

· Students bringing the Bujinkan International Dojo (as well as the Bujinden), and the Bujinkan Lincoln Dojo into disrepute will be expelled from the Bujinkan Lincoln Dojo.

· Students of all grades must complete the requirements set for each grade before they will be considered for gradings.

Training Gi:

During Bujinkan classes you will only wear a black Keiko-gi (Karate or Judo suit) unless permission to wear any other costume is given by the instructor.

A Hakama may be worn with permission. If Hakama is worn a Keiko-gi jacket of black or white or a Black Iaigi (jacket) must be worn. No other upper garment will be permitted (such as t-shirts).
